Flowers Everywhere!

So much is in bloom around here. The bees are going absolutely crazy and the buzzing is nonstop… something I quite enjoy.

Two of the iris colors currently blooming in my son’s memorial garden.

Some of the more common iris varieties blooming around our yard.

Several years ago, I planted a row of spirea along our driveway. The blooms are spectacular this spring, but no matter how I tried to photograph it, the bushes appear mostly green, when in fact they stunningly white right now.

That’s how I know the camera lies, and I’m not really as fat as it makes me look!

Some Arkansas native wildflowers below. I’m a sucker for these.

I love the color variety here. We desperately need to make mulch and add a bunch to this bed!

And some grapes, which we’ve had terrible luck growing, flowering.

Is the spirea also known as Bridal Wreath?
