For the Final Time… I’m Done

I’ve started up and stopped my blogging so many times over the years, since I first began blogging under the “TinkleTimes”, then the “Wandering Quilter’s Life in a Box”, to “Created by CJ”, and finally, “Tinksquared”.

While I do enjoy it, I’m done with the expense of it, and I hate the free blogging platforms. I’ll leave it here until it expires sometime next year, but I won’t be updating it anymore. I’ll probably go back to using Facebook, because I enjoy social media, but I’m going to try not to get all wrapped up in the stupidity that goes with it.

So thank you for putting up with my wishy washy nature for all these years. I’ve been blogging since 2003. On and off :). You know where to find me on Facebook 🙂

I’m sure you’ve thought this over carefully. We’ll all miss you, but will find you on Facebook. Thanks for all the inspiration & information. Peace

Well… I don’t know about how carefully I thought it over, I’m just getting really lazy in my old age and as retirement looms, always looking for a way to cut an expense, or replace it with something more useful 🙂

CJ, you certainly will be missed. Will watch for you on FB again. I’m not sure I am going to stay there much longer. We leave, then come back for posts and pics from friends.

Yeah Facebook concerns me with the mentality no doubt. But I miss visiting with people online.

I have missed you on Facebook

I will certainly miss you. Thanks for everything. I just finished a quilt show (looked at your quilts and the beautiful quilting). We (my husband and I) think of you every time we use our Cook Shack smoker.. You will have more time to garden, sew, cook and just enjoy nature. Best wishes and I’ll see you elsewhere on the internet.

We still love our CookShack too, best little smoker ever! Ours is like 16 years old now, and still works perfectly!

Dear CJ, I will really miss your blog, I so look forward to hearing about your baking, sewing, and even Miss Myrtle.
You have inspired me to quilt more, when I see your fabulous creations, it made me want to try harder to creat something beautiful.
We share the sad bond of both having lost a son, so I feel a kinship even though we’ve never met. I would love to be your friend on FB, and hope you will accept my friend request.
    Sincerely,
    Debbie Brander

That’s a club no one wants to belong to, but it definitely builds a kinship. I’m so sorry for your loss. I look forward to your friend request on FB!

I’m so sorry to hear that, I enjoy your posts 🙁 But I understand, I tried doing a blog years ago and gave up after a couple of posts – it did give me an appreciation for what bloggers do! I have minimal interaction on FB, so I probably won’t see you there. Sending you lots of good wishes, etc. for your future!
