It’s not my favorite part of quilting by any stretch of the imagination, so my progress when anything is on my longarm is painfully slow.
I’m in the middle of the quilt now working on the star, but I have to roll it back and forth as of course the entire star doesn’t fit between my rollers, which is a bit of a pain. But hey, at least I’m in the middle now!
I spent about 3 hours on it this morning, and had hoped to finish the middle, but I’m not quite halfway done. I’ll probably call it quits for the day.
The rest of the fabric I need for the Churn Dash quilt arrives today. I needed the red for the sashing blocks and the border fabric. I have to cut 196 red strips, and my brain went into meltdown mode calculation the little one inch squares. I have most of the cream part cut.
I made a cool discovery this morning! The Fitbit app of course, is free, but did you know if you don’t have a Fitbit device, you can use your phone?
See where in Settings, it says “MobileTrack”?. Yep, just click on it and it should show your phone. Of course you have to carry your phone around for this to work, but mine is usually in my pocket anyway.
