Miss Myrtle Gets New Duds

And she’s not very pleased with my work! But she is in a bit of a tizzy this morning anyway, as first I subjected her to blue fabric in the sewing room. She does NOT like blue fabric!

Can’t say as I blame her. But these got shipped off shortly after I whipped them up this morning. I do love this pattern!

Then I further irritated her by stripping her old clothes off.

I thought she looked kind of cute in the buff! It was her idea in the first place, to replace her clothes, since they were pink and blue, and she really only likes red!

I tried to warn her that my talents don’t lay in teensy mice outfits!

She said she didn’t mind the skirt so much. And she loved the new fabric bolts I gave her to hold. But that sweater? Ever hear a peeved mouse? It ain’t pretty.

Summer is about here anyway, so maybe when she calms down a bit, I’ll consider trying a cotton shirt for her.

I baked more whole wheat bread today. Sometimes I wonder why I ever switch over to sourdough every winter. Jim and I both love this bread so much!

It’s going to hit ninety degrees today! I took my daily four mile walk early this morning. It will get earlier and earlier as it gets hotter, pretty soon I’ll be out there walking at five in the morning!

Glad you robed the darling mouse. A very conservative dresser isn’t she? 🙂

Well she was until she saw the doll dresses. She’s since tossed those “Duds” I made her out the window, and remains naked as a jay bird.. or in this case, a mouse!
