For the last several mornings, I’ve resorted to searching Pinterest for twelve inch quilt blocks, finding one that catches my fancy, and adding to the now “faux” Moda Blockheads 2020 quilt.
Here’s this morning’s choice. I think this is a beautiful block and would make a gorgeous quilt with a secondary pattern.
I doubt I could make an entire quilt of it though. My eye doesn’t want to follow these lines, and I’m still not positive I don’t have a patch twisted somewhere. But I love this block!
For the last few days I’ve been sewing on my Bernina 430. Miss Myrtle is not happy about that. She much prefers the vintage Singer machines.
I have twelve blocks now, eleven of which I’m happy with. Actually, there’s about fifteen blocks made, eleven of which I’m happy about!
I’ll keep trying to get one a day made. Two quilts downstairs waiting to be quilted, one nearly finished on the longarm, and I can’t summon any interest in completing it.
I don’t feel like cooking today, so the crockpot is full of sliced potatoes, onions, cheese, milk, and a can of creamed soup.
